When sudden flash floods hit State College, PA, the local middle school was overwhelmed. Not only was the building damaged, but also hundreds of students were out of school until the building could be cleaned up and made safe.
Mammoth was able to respond quickly, preventing further damage and loss of school days. We were there within hours of the school district’s call and worked alongside the physical plant team to plan recovery efforts. Most importantly, we designed a dry-out plan that met the school’s number one need: getting kids back in class sooner. We were able to clean and open a portion of the school within days, and safely work around students and classes with ongoing dry-out efforts on the rest of the building. Follow-up air testing showed no residual problems, and school is back in session!
