Wayne Wambold – Team Member Spotlight

Each month, we like to take a look at one of the key team members that have a great impact on Mammoth, fellow team members, and our customers.  Tomorrow will mark two years for Wayne Wambold, a team member who has dedicated passion and effort to the building of our Allentown branch and team.  While Wayne started at Mammoth as a carpenter, his continued growth personally and professionally is exactly what Mammoth Restoration is all about.

Please help us in congratulating Wayne on his two-year working anniversary, as we learn a little bit more about him below.

 

 

How long have you worked at Mammoth?
It will be 2 Years on May 29th

What position did you start out in at Mammoth?

I was brought in as a carpenter but am now a Project Manager in training.

How has Mammoth helped you in your career development?

One of the things I love most is that I am advancing within the company, Mammoth has given me a chance and believes in me.

If you could switch your job with anyone else within Mammoth, whose job would you want?

I don’t really want anyone else’s job – I’m happy just where I’m at.

What advice do you have for prospective Mammoth candidates?

Be open and honest, follow the culture, and do your job.  Be dependable!  If you do your job, rewards will follow.

What are 3 words to describe Mammoth?

Family orientated, culturally based, and teamwork!

What do you like most about Mammoth?

I really like the options that are given to you.  At Mammoth, you have the opportunity to grow in your career if that’s what you want. Mammoth gives you a ton of opportunities to take advantage and grow yourself.

What is the best vacation you’ve taken?

My favorite vacation was traveling to Mexico.  I’ve been there twice and it’s so relaxing.

Do you have a favorite quote?

Sometimes the juice ain’t worth the squeeze!!!

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us?

I was in the Marine Corps for three years, I have three kids and I’m a grandfather.

What is your favorite food?

I love venison.. deer meat and wild game is by far my favorite.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to spend time with the kids, hunt, and fish.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

I would choose to be able to heal fast. I’m getting old and I’ve put my body through hell.   Now I’m paying the price for it.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?

George Strait….Cross My Heart – Although I don’t really do karaoke.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a Marine.

What’s a mistake you made early on in your career, and what did you learn from it?

To accept the help when it’s there.

What’s something you’re looking to accomplish or do in the next year?
Personally – I want to get back in shape!!
Professionally – Learn in my new role and kill it..
